Harry Potter: Wizards Unite

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite was a location-based AR collectible RPG built on Niantic’s GPS platform technology for mobile devices. The visual direction focused on creating an experience that felt authentic to the Harry Potter franchise while maintaining clarity, delight, and readability across a wide range of real-world outdoor lighting conditions.

Characters and assets were developed with proportionally realistic forms combined with stylized textures to integrate naturally within camera-based AR environments while maintaining strong visual readability on mobile devices. Animation was developed in collaboration with the Animation Director using motion capture pipelines to support expressive and cinematic character performances.

As Art Director, I led all stages of visual development and production from concept through release. In addition to overseeing the overall artistic direction, I created the in-game 3D map assets and managed presentation, feedback, and approval workflows with Warner Bros. and franchise stakeholders at The Blair Partnership.
